The Playa Negra Brewing Beachfront Hotel offers spacious and clean king superior rooms, with comfortable beds. The hotel has a beautiful garden and is located right in front of a quiet beach. The staff is very kind and there is a bar/restaurant with live music in the evenings. The hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the town and a taxi ride costs around $3. The bus to Cahuita/Limon conveniently stops right in front of the hotel.
Felt very secure, no complaints.

The covered sitting area was just perfect for relaxing and socializing, while the skilled bartenders made sure my drink was always on point. The gardens were like a mini jungle, and the shared terraces with hammocks were a bliss.
Who needs a reception area when you can have a beach-deck with the ocean view? Such a shame.

This hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the lively heart of the town. It offers a beachfront location, allowing guests to easily access the beautiful Playa Negra. The rooms are comfortable and offer a nice view of the surroundings. The service provided by the staff is friendly and accommodating. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the on-site restaurant.
One negative aspect of the hotel is that some guests have mentioned slow service during busy periods, which can be frustrating.

I had a jaw-dropping experience at this beachfront hotel! The owner was super accommodating, allowing us to check out early. The location was mind-blowing, with the beautiful Playa Negra just across the street and only a short walk to the center of the town. The attached restaurant bar was a major plus, and the new management really made a difference in the level of service. The staff, especially Yanina, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy, quiet, and comfortable, with a variety of options available for different budgets. Plus, being a hostel combined with a brewery was an amazing surprise! The beer was delicious, and enjoying it right by the black beach front was truly an experience to cherish. The communal space was well-maintained and cleaned regularly, and my room was comfortable and clean with a fan provided. Such great value for money. Many thanks to the staff for making my stay here super enjoyable and memorable!
